Forget diva demands, Cate Blanchett, who is for all intent and purpose worthy of being a diva should she so fancy it, has delighted the internet by turning up to last night’s AACTA awards on the 431 bus.
Radio hosts Fitzy & Wippa shared the below Vine of Blanchett shimmying off the bus like a movie star (in a way that the rest of us regular old bus riders could never do) and it is truly mesmerising.
Blanchett’s bus escapade was reportedly because she didn’t want to wrinkle her silk Alexander McQueen gown. Practical!
And in a move that will ring true to any woman who’s worn a tricky dress, she decided to go sans knickers at the red carpet event because even Cate Blanchett would struggle to pull off a visible panty line.
