Stars legend and Hollywood royalty Carrie Fisher has died, days after suffering a heart attack on board the flight from London to LA.
The actress was rushed to a nearby hospital upon landing where she had remained in intensive care.
Despite her mother Debbie Reynolds reassuring the public she was in a “stable condition” via Facebook, all hopes for a recovery were crushed earlier this morning.
Her celebrity friends have since taken to Twitter to express their sadness, as 2016 claims another great.
Her mother has since thanked everyone for their kind words.
