Carrie Bickmore has welcomed a beautiful new baby girl named Evie with her producer partner Chris Walker.
Carrie announced the news this afternoon via Twitter, posting:
“Welcome to this crazy world little Evie…so happy u arrived safely. Xx”
She later posted an adorable black and white picture of her new little girl on Instagram.
Carrie, 34, has been in a long-term relationship with new dad Chris since they met on the set of The Project where he was a former producer.
This is the couple’s first child together however Carrie already has a seven-year-old son Oliver, or Ollie, who she shared with her former husband Greg Lange, who died in 2010 after a long cancer battle.

The Project co-host has already been inundated with congratulatory tweets from the public and fellow stars alike.
Sandra Sully responded “Wow…congrats Carrie!! One of each for you. We’ll have to pop this on the News…stay tuned!! Xx”
Sarah Harris wrote: “Congrats Carrie! Gorgeous name x”
Carrie first announced that she was expecting live on air at The Project panel desk.
“Well, speaking of babies, I have some news for you tonight,” the panel host said.
“I am having a baby.”
“My boyfriend Chris and I are expecting a baby next year.”
The hugely-popular presenter apparently took everybody surprise – not least her co-hosts Peter Helliar, Todd Sampson and Matt Doran.

Although Carrie has been spotted out and about showing off her bump, she said the pregnancy has been tough on her.
“I was really really really sick so now I’m in the homeward stretch. Actually the hard part is to come,” she previously told Sydney Confidential.
“I have been so much sicker this pregnancy.”
That didn’t stop her from stepping out to the tennis recently though to watch the Australian Open with partner Chris.
