Carrie Bickmore is back to work, returning to The Project after three months of maternity leave. And her gorgeous baby girl is already the star of the show.
The mother-of-two was back at the desk last night when the team broadcast two photos of baby Evie, claiming to have stolen Bickmore’s iphone.
Peter Hellier joked about Evie’s second photo being impressive because “it’s actually a selfie” to which Carrie corrected him, explaining the little one was in the bath.
“That’s probably not good to show me that, my boobs are going to start leaking soon,” Bickmore said, laughing, and holding her chest.
Waleed Aly then asked about the scratch on Evie’s head, wondering whether it was a rugby injury.
“She was milk drunk and banged in to something the other night. She’s fine though,” said Bickmore with a chuckle.
The Project host posted a picture of her daughter on instagram for the first time on Sunday, with the caption: “soaking up bath time with my little honey tonight as this time tomorrow I’ll be back on Project time.”
Bickmore and her partner, Chris Walker welcomed their daughter to the world in mid-March.
Speaking to The Weekly in February, Carrie, who also has a son, Oliver, 7, confided that she was “so excited” to give him a sibling after losing her first husband, Greg Lange, to cancer in 2010.
And who wouldn’t love this little bundle of joy.
