The 36-year-old brunette also admitted it was an all-nighter, showing fans a brilliant image of herself dancing with her colleague, Project’s chief of staff, Marietta Del Vecchio.

“Really want to go back to bed but have children to entertain… Should have remembered them at 1.30am!!!”

She ended her caption with the hashtags, “#dancing #friends #workmates #xmas #dayafterthenightbefore @mariettadelvecc”

Marietta commented on the candid photo, revealing the ladies really got their groove on thanks to a ’90s classic.

“We really came into our own when Return of the Mack came on! So much fun,” she quipped.

Friends and fans were quick to comment on Carrie’s night, encouraging her to let her hair down.

One person mused, “Love the action shot @bickmorecarrie! It’s hard work the next day with kids, but so worth it when you consider the fun most likely had by all!”

While fellow Channel Ten personality, Studio 10’s Sarah Harris remarked, “Now here’s trouble with a capital TRRRRRRRRRRR!! @bickmorecarrie @mariettadelvecc #FOMO”

It’s certainly lovely to see Carrie having fun, especially during a time of year that she recently revealed can be really hard for her.

In a raw self-penned article for Stellar, the 36-year-old admitted she isn’t a fan of Christmas, after she lost her first husband Greg Lange in December of 2010.

“As an adult, I know exactly why I find Christmas hard. It’s the time of year I lost someone I loved dearly; it’s a time I am reminded of those wonderful humans who shaped my past but no longer sit at the table with us,” she wrote.

“I miss their cinnamon-smelling hugs, their bad jokes, their funny Christmas videos. Christmas is not the same without them. Every day is not the same without them, but at Christmas it feels amplified.”
