The Project’s Carrie Bickmore has announced live on air the exciting news that she is expecting her second child.
“Well, speaking of babies, I have some news for you tonight,” the panel host said.
“I am having a baby.”
The hugely-popular presenter apparently took everybody surprise – not least her co-hosts Peter Helliar, Todd Sampson and Matt Doran.
Peter joked that maybe it was the Bachelor’s baby – referencing Carrie’s highly anticipated interview with Blake Garvey that went to air earlier in the week.

The baby will be the second child for the TV presenter who is already mother to seven-year-old Oliver from her first marriage to Greg Lange, who sadly passed away from a brain tumour in 2010.
Carrie is currently in a relationship with Chris Walker – a former producer on The Project.
