It looks like there’s a little lion man or lady on the way for Mumford and Sons front-man Marcus and The Great Gatsby actress Carey Mulligan!
Us Weekly claim that multiple sources close to the couple have confirmed the pregnancy to them. This will be the first child for the talented duo who married in 2012.
On Sunday, Carey walked the red carpet for the Tony Awards where she was nominated for her performance in Skylight, with Marcus by her side, skilfully covering her baby bump in a stunning non-fitted gown.
“They weren’t planning on announcing, but she hasn’t stopped working. Everybody around her is being very supportive. The show ends soon and they’re going back to England after,” a source explained to Us Weekly.
Last month the husband and wife team attended the MET gala, with the 30-year-old again managing to keep her secret hidden by concealing her growing belly with a flowing Balenciaga gown.

The cute couple are notoriously private, with the blonde beauty telling Vogue in May: “Marcus is the only thing that’s mine that I can keep totally away.”
Adding to the cuteness over-load, the talented twosome’s love story is of Shakespearean proportions, expect without the tragedy!
The parents-to-be were pen pals as children and as they got older and their careers took off they lost contact, but then reunited as adults, got married and quite literally lived happily ever after.
Close pal Sienna Miller recently shed some insight into their amazingly romantic lifestyle.
“They have chickens and a dog, and roasts and friends, jams by campfires, It’s sort of idyllic,” the actress told Vogue.
Before adding: “Marcus can headline Glastonbury and Carey can be nominated for however many Oscars, and then they come back to their farm, and they’re in big woolly jumpers and funny hats, raising piglets. It’s an amazing balance they’ve managed to strike. I can’t wait for a little baby to come along.”
