US Rapper, Cardi B has taken to Instagram to announce that she’s a new mum. The “Be Careful” singer, 25 and her and husband Kiari “Offset” Cephus, 26 are now proud parents to a baby girl named Kulture Kiari Cephu.
Born on Tuesday, Kulture is a little sister to Offset’s three other children from previous relationships — two sons, Jordan and Kody, and a daughter, Kalea Marie.
Two Instagram photos announce the birth, both showing a very pregnant Cardi self surrounded by flowers, echoing Beyoncé’s famous February 2017 announcement that she was expecting twins.
Earlier this year, rumours around the pregnancy reached fever pitch and were finally confirmed in April during Cardi’s performance on Saturday Night Live.
Cardi, whose real name is Belcalis Almanzar spoke about the performance on Ellen, leaving the host and audience in hysterics as she spoke about how she got pregnant in the first place.
The happy rapper couple are quite adept at keeping secrets. The pair married in private in September last year, however in a bid to keep fans guessing Offset only ‘officially’ proposed one month later.
The truth was finally revealed in June when TMZ shared a marriage certificate which blew their cover.
