The Warner family has been torn apart, and they have no idea for how long, but they are still attempting to put on a brave face despite the uncertainty.
Former SAS star Candice Warner’s husband, Australian cricketer David Warner is trapped in India after his test team, the Kolkata Knight Riders, was forced into isolation after two players were infected with COVID-19.
The Australian government has banned Australians from coming home from COVID-stricken India in an unprecedented and highly condemned move.
There is no word as to when the travel ban will be lifted, which means Candice and her family will be facing a lot of uncertainty.
They will be waiting for either the government to reverse their decision or for the pandemic in India to subside.
In an attempt to make light of the situation, Candice and her children sent sweet messages of support to David last night as they grapple with the difficult situation.
The artwork and messages created by the children, Mae, Indi Rae and Isla Rose, have undoubtedly given their dad some encouragement.
Candice posted a series of pictures on her Instagram of the artwork with the sweet caption, “Stay safe Daddy, come home as soon as you can. We love you. @davidwarner31 #staysafe ( a letter from Ivy) ❤️🙏.”
David reposted the picture onto his Instagram with the heartbreaking caption, “My gorgeous Ivy ❤️❤️❤️ so much love @candywarner1 #family.”
Clearly, a very doting father David has Instagram bio reads, “Father of three Ivy Mae, Indi Rae and Isla Rose. Husband to the rock Candice Warner. They are my world😘.”
So although he is now worlds away from his gorgeous and young family, he can at least take solace in the fact that they will all be eagerly awaiting his return and, in the meantime sending him as many messages of love as possible.
