Candice Warner has lived a life full of headline making moments, and the stories behind some of the biggest sporting scandals in Australia are soon to be revealed, as the once professional Iron Woman is releasing a tell-all memoir, Running Strong, in April.
The 37-year-old, who has been married to cricketer David Warner since 2015, announced the upcoming memoir on her Instagram, saying, “This is my story. A story about running away, crashing through and hitting my stride.
“It’s about what happens when you get knocked down, and about climbing back from rock bottom. But it’s also about the power of creating precious sanctuary for the people closest to you, and for yourself.”
The book is said to cover two of the biggest hardships that the sportswomen-turned-media-personality has suffered through – “warts and all”, as she revealed to the Daily Telegraph.
We will hear Candice’s explanation of the incident where was she caught in a bathroom hook up with Sonny Bill Williams and will be privy to what her family went through following her husband being caught up in the ball-tampering scandal that rocked the nation in 2018.
“I touch on absolutely everything, every single thing from the Clovelly Hotel incident to South Africa,” the radio broadcaster said to the Daily Telegraph.
“Anything that you have seen in a headline, it will be talked about. It is something that I have wanted to do for a while but it has never been the right time.”
David took to Instagram to show his support for his wife of seven years new project, posting the book cover with the caption, “my beautiful, brilliant wife @candywarner1 has written her story.
“I’m so proud of her for telling her story in her own words – the highs, the lows and the heartbreak, and about a life filled with love, purpose and optimism.”
