And on Tuesday, April 4 the parents of two shared heartfelt posts on Instagram to mark the milestone.

Alongside a slew of wedding photos, Candice penned: “Two years ago today you made me the happiest lady on earth.”

“You have made me a better person for loving me for who I am. Thank you for being there for me always. Happy anniversary darling, I love you @davidwarner31.”

While cricket captain David posted a shot of him sharing a romantic dance with his wife.

“2 years today I married this superwoman and I Would not change a thing. Happy anniversary my love @candywarner1 I love you with all my heart.”

“Each day/month and year gets better and better. #family #somuchlove #chess #soyouthinkyoucandance,” the 30-year-old mused.

At the time, the newlyweds shared their nuptials exclusively with Woman’s Day and admitted it was the best day of their lives.

“There was so much love in the room,” Candice said.

“It was the best day of my life next to having [daughter] Ivy. I had a lump in my throat during the ceremony.”

“How could I not have a tear in my eye when I saw Candice walk around the corner looking like the most beautiful bride in the world?” David added.

“I was struck again by just how lucky I was to find The One – the woman I will spend the rest of my life with.”

Two years and another baby later, Candice and David are the proud parents to daughters Ivy Mae, two, and Indi Rae, one, and as the couple raise their two little ones, they also criss-cross across the globe for David’s international cricket career.

On top of that, they’re building a new home in Sydney and Candice is training for the Gold Coast marathon in July.

While the athlete says the bouts of separation are definitely hard, she believes their time apart is actually healthy for their marriage.

“When he’s away, you miss him and then the time you do get to spend together, you cherish and really make the most of it,” she told Now To Love in February.

“When he’s away, it teaches us it communicate and to open up. Otherwise we’d bottle it all up and our relationship would probably fail but because we spend so much time apart, we communicate so well.”
