Married At First Sight fans were delighted to see one of the show’s most successful couples Cameron Merchant and Jules Robinson, officially tie the knot in November 2019.
It was the happy ending we all wanted from the show, despite our guilty love for the drama, but to mark two years since their legal nuptials, Cameron has spoken about the tough reality of the day.
The former MAFS groom shared a professionally shot photo from their wedding, and began his caption with a cheeky jab thrown at their on-screen reality TV ceremony.
“Happiest of 2nd (Legally Binding😂) Wedding anniversaries to this smoke show & my gorgeous wife @julesrobinson82 😍 In a World full of uncertainties, you are my certainty & I thank you for being my rock & my best friend every single day❤️,” Cam wrote in his caption.
He also admitted to having a better memory of his MAFS’ wedding, and that he and Jules often forget about their legally recognised event.

“We remember the date of our first wedding a fraction easier 😂but this day is just as remarkable & memorable & loving as any.. & so thankful to experience 2 with you,” the proud husband remarked.
“Was a fraction chaotic in the lead up but one of the best days of my life..❤️ (If you need some amazing help from a the most incredible wedding planner just to take a little stress out of the whole process @coutureweddingplanning is certainly you’re person 😅🙏🏽😘).”
To conclude his nostalgic reflection, he turned his attention to Jules and the life they have built together, including their son, Oliver, whom they welcomed in 2020.
“Sometimes I still can’t believe what we have created together in this time & I am truly grateful to have you & now our little man by my side every day to continue to grow & live life with the amount of laughter & love we are fortunate to have. I become more proud of you & more in love with you everyday that goes by😍.
“I love doing life with you🙏🏽 Happy Anniversary ❤️,” he finished.
Australia’s 2021 Bachelor, Jimmy Nicholson, was touched by Cameron’s tribute, and commented under the post, “Happy anniversary lovebirds.”

Both Jules and Cameron shared sweet odes dedicated to each other and a slew of photos from the special occasion.
Uploading a video that featured a series of photos from their MAFS wedding, Cam penned a heartfelt message and reflected on the past three years with Jules.
Cam and Jules welcomed their son Oliver in November 2020.
