They may have started off as one of Married At First Sight‘s most controversial couples ever, but Melissa Rawson and Bryce Ruthven have well and truly proven their critics wrong!
On Monday, the couple, who share two sons together, celebrated their two year anniversary.
Bryce took to Instagram to share the exciting relationship milestone, poking fun at their naysayers.
“Two of the best years with the most kind, genuine and tolerant woman I could ask for ❤️ I remember when the betting agencies & reality TV nobodies said we wouldn’t last more than two months! 😂,” he penned.
“Can’t wait to continue writing our own narrative for life. Love you 4EVA babe ❤️.”
Byrce also shared a carousel of his and Melissa’s best moments together, from meeting on MAFS to getting engaged and having two twin boys, Levi and Tate.
Melissa also shared a gushing tribute to her fiancé, saying she’s looking forward to their wedding later this year.
“Happy 2nd anniversary @bryceruthven. I am so in love with you and I cannot wait to marry you in a few months. Here’s to us, our babies, our families and all that have loved us and followed our wild journey. I love you,” she penned.
In July 2021, the couple announced that not only had they gotten engaged, they were expecting twins. Their sons Tate and Levi arrived 10 weeks early in October 2021.
Earlier this year, Bryce revealed he and Melissa would be waiting until their sons are a bit older until tying the knot (for real this time!)
“We are holding off until they’re walking because we want them involved on our big day,” he said of his twin boys.
The reality TV star confirmed that they won’t be having more kids, and shared how his relationship with Melissa has changed since becoming parents.
“Stronger than ever!” he said. “We have both found a new appreciation for each other and couldn’t be happier with our little family.”
