The couple, who met on MAFS season eight, are set to take part in Channel Seven’s latest special, The Fame Game, alongside a slew of other celebrities.

In a preview for the upcoming TV event, Melissa and Bryce revealed the intense trolling they’ve copped has now been directed against their kids.

“They hoped my twins would die,” the mother-of-two said of her sons Levi and Tate, who were born 10 weeks early in October 2021.

Melissa’s fiancé Bryce went on to say that MAFS viewers were fooled by his depiction on the show.

“You think you know what you saw, but you have absolutely no idea,” he said in his interview.

The Fame Game will also star Biggest Loser host Ajay Rochester, TV personality Cameron Daddo, Home and Away veteran Ada Nicodemou and socialite Brynne Edelsten.

It’s not the first time Bryce and Melissa have claimed they were portrayed inaccurately during their time on MAFS. In December, the couple told Confidential that Channel Nine “fooled the country”.

“We knew what the truth was from day one but unfortunately the country got fooled. They have to have a villain and for some reason I got picked out,” Bryce said.

Melissa added: “I wasn’t overly happy with (the editing) but I guess that’s what comes with making a television show. It needs to be entertaining for everybody.”

Melissa and Bryce, both 32, have long been candid about their struggles with trolling. In February, the couple hit out at a Melbourne radio station after being the target of a “hurtful” on-air prank.

Bryce claimed that flowers arrived at his and Melissa’s home, addressed to him from a secret admirer – though the bouquet was actually from KIIS 101.1’s Jase & Lauren In The Morning.

Photos posted to both of their social media pages showed a bouquet of colourful blooms with a note that read: “Hey Bryce. Just wanted to say I’ve loved working with you.

“I know there’s a spark there, I hope you feel it too. Love, your secret admirer,’ followed by a phone number.”

Melissa was the one who arrived home first to discover the flowers, leaving the new mum shocked and “hurt” at how her relationship was being so obviously disrespected.

Bryce told the radio hosts on air: “It didn’t go down too well with two new parents who are going through some stuff with two newborn twins, I’m not going to lie.”
