Britney Spears has her sights set. When she first heard the news about Brad Pitt’s new single status, she was sad… but also pretty excited that her crush is finally available again.
During an interview on the Today show, Brit was asked about her chosen celebrity heartthrob. The star, who’s been vocal about her appreciation for Brad for many years now, replied: “My first celebrity crush was Brad Pitt. He’s single now!”
In fact, any time Brit is asked about who she has had a thing for, the answer is always the same. Just a few months ago, during a radio interview, she was asked about her famous favourites, and she admitted: “It’s always been Brad Pitt.”
Last year, the Stronger singer even offered up herself as a nanny for Brad and Angelina’s children.
Speaking on the UK’s Good Morning Britain, she said: “I met Brad Pitt once, but I’d like to meet him again. And I’d like to become their nanny. That sounds fun to me!”
We can totally see why Brad is Britney’s crush.
Way back in 2005, on her reality show Britney and Kevin: Chaotic, she joked with her then-husband about Brad’s notorious break-up with Jennifer Aniston: “We found out that Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt broke up. So I have a feeling that he’s thinking about me … Just playing,” she said.
“He probably wouldn’t even look my way. I don’t care, ’cause we can dream. We can dream!”

But her attentions may be wavering somewhat, since earlier this week Britney made headlines after she admitted to a soft spot for another celebrity – Justin Bieber.
During a game of Snog, Marry, Avoid, on UK TV show Loose Women, the show’s hosts asked Britney to choose between Simon Cowell, Madonna and Biebs – and the 34 year-old admitted that she’d happily kiss 22 year-old Bieber.

During her TV appearance on the talk show, Brit went on to talk about her love life, revealling that for the time being, she is “happily single”.
The only question now is: Brad or Bieber?
