What a year it’s been for actress Brie Larson!
The star won her first Oscar for Best Actress earlier this year for her soul-shaking performance in the Lenny Abrahamson film, Room, and now it seems that the blonde beauty has found ultimate happiness with the man she deems “her person”.
After speculation over a sparkling diamond the star wore on that finger during an appearance on SNL over the weekend, a rep for Brie has officially confirmed the pair’s engagement.
According to Us Weekly the 36-year-old muso got down on one knee before his beautiful girlfriend on a trip to Tokyo, Japan earlier this year in March.

The happy couple’s engagement – although a surprise, was not entirely unexpected.
The 26-year-old has a very outspoken love for her beau, which often becomes more and more evident when the 21 Jump Street actress steps on stage to accept an award.
“I’d like to thank my boyfriend, Alex Greenwald, for making me pasta and taking care of our puppy while I made this movie,” she said in appreciation of her man during her acceptance speech at the Gotham Independent Film awards.
The Oscar-winner was spotted donning a bit of bling on May 7.
Three years on, puppy love turned into unconditional love when she proudly declared her affection at the 2016 SAG awards.
“My wonderful boyfriend, Alex—I love you so much,” she said.
And the sentiment was shared once again when the talent won her very first academy award earlier this year.
“I love you the whole thing,” she gushed as she clutched onto her gold statue.
Congratulations, Brie and Alex! We at Woman’s Day wish you a lifetime of happiness.
