The Australian COVID vaccination rollouts have been a pretty touch and go operation, but things are finally improving, and more people are going out to get their vaccine.
Late last month, it was announced that people between the ages 40-49 are entitled to receive the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccination when it was previously only available to the over 50 age bracket.
This week, radio co-stars Brendan Fevola and Fifi Box, who are part of Melbourne breakfast show Fifi, Fev and Nick on 101.9, went off to do their public due diligence by getting their COVID jab.
Brendan Fevola documented their time in the waiting room by filming Fifi and quizzing her about how she felt about her impending jab.
In the footage, the former ALF star asks his co-host: “Hey Boxy, are you feeling okay?”
“I am feeling fine, I am good,” the mother-of-two responds.
However, her merry insistence that she was okay took a suspicious turn when she felt the need to insist everything was fine.
“I feel good,” she insisted.
This assurance was followed by a laugh that was accompanied by some uncertain chuckles.
The Melbourne government allows people to leave their homes to receive the vaccine during the state’s fourth lockdown.
Brendan included a Let’s Get Vaccinated link on the story to encourage his followers to get their jab, because as he expressed in the video, “we’re all in this together.”
Following her needle, Fifi raved about the operation.
“It’s an incredible process down there… So impressive. I can’t believe what a slick organisation it is down there,” she said.
As of June 2 2021, the Australian Government has reported that 4,501,444 Australians have received their COVID vaccination on their official website.
