Oh to have been a fly on the wall at this wedding! Hangover actor Bradley Cooper crashed the nuptials of an old university friend and – surprise surprise – managed to be the centre of attention.
The 41 year-old Georgetown University graduate returned to Washington D.C to attend President Obama and the First Lady’s final music event at the White House – a concert titled “Love and Happiness”.
Bradley’s girlfriend Irina wasn’t at the wedding.
While he was in the area, Brad decided to drop in on old pal and fellow alumni Nicholas Barnacle’s wedding. Wedding photographer Lisa Boggs captured the moment, and was quick to upload the picture to Instagram with the caption:
“Here’s a sneak peek from Meg and Nick’s private ceremony this past weekend! Their friend, Bradley Cooper, was visiting Georgetown and made sure to congratulate the newlyweds as they walked around campus.”
Cooper looks casual for the occasion (well, it was a last-minute visit!) but according to People the actor enjoyed himself at the ceremony. The groom’s father revealed that he had even caught the bouquet. Should we buy a hat, Bradley?!
The star’s girlfriend Irina Shayk wasn’t at the wedding since she was busy on a photoshoot in Turkey.
Ironically, Bradley once starred in the film Wedding Crashers – about two men in Washington who turn up unannounced at weddings. Is this a case of reality mimicking art, or can we expect a second adaptation soon?!
