He might have been smiling for the cameras on the red carpet for his new film Allied, but inside Brad Pitt is reportedly miserable.
Reports in Us Weekly say the actor, who is dad to Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, ten, and eight-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne, is missing his kids desperately since he split with Angelina Jolie.
“He’s crushed,” an insider revealed to the publication, of the fact that the father of six has only seen his children three times in the past eight weeks.
People at the film premiere said Brad showed little hint o the pain beneath the surface at the film premiere.
Julia Roberts supported her friend when he first stepped out after the split.
“He was sweet,” one of the attendees Avery Black revealed to Us. “He said he was thankful for the support.”
The custody arrangement between him and Angelina still stands, despite Brad being cleared of all child abuse allegations.
Brad has reportedly said that he won’t fight it at this stage, even though it breaks his heart, because “He wants to limit the fighting”.
Brad reportedly doesn’t want fighting to affect his kids.
Meanwhile, Radar Online has reported that, according to audio obtained from their flight, a fight never took place between Maddox and Brad.
The fight was reportedly the catalyst for the Ange calling time on the relationship.
FFA records from the Minneapolis Air Route Traffic Control Center failed to show any incident on-board the plane on September 14.
The records merely show the flight was turbulent for the Jolie-Pitt clan.
There’s no audio evidence of the fight Angelina claimed took place.
This goes against reports from flight staff at the airport who apparently heard the family fighting.

Angelina Jolie’s ex says he would love to team up on screen with the 52-year-old actor.
“This might surprise people, but I’d love to do a movie with Brad Pitt. I think we’d be great together,” the actor confessed to Playboy magazine.
“We’d play a couple of Southern guys.”
