Brad Pitt, Ryan Gosling and Christian Bale are all set to cast in The Big Short, an adaption of the bestselling nonfiction book, The Big Short: Inside the Doomsday Machine, written by Michael Lewis.
That’s right – a whole lot of eye candy on the same screen, at the same time.
Directed by Anchorman’s, Adam McKay, The Big Short addresses the housing and credit bubble disaster that lead to the 2007 global financial crisis.
Hopefully there are some shirtless scenes and hopefully the look a little like this aka Brad in Fight Club. Pitt’s production company, Plan B is also working on the much anticipated film with Paramount Pictures.

As with Moneyball (2011), another film based on the writings of Michael Lewis, in which Pitt has previously starred in, he is said to again be very passionate about getting this adaption onto the bigscreen.
“Plan B and I connected over that breathless quality the book has. Very excited to jump into this,” McKay said.
Although there is not yet a release date or scheduled start for production, the almighty trio have reportedly all signed away on the dotted lines. Here’s hoping, right?
