After nine years together, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are finally married!
A representative for the pair has confirmed the couple tied the knot on Saturday, at a small chapel on the Château Miraval estate in France.
The representative told The Associated Press that Brad, 50, and Ange’s six children Maddox, 13, Pax, 11, Zahara, 9, Shiloh, 8, and 6-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne all took part in the private ceremony.
Angelina, 39, walked down the aisle with her eldest sons Maddox and Pax. Zahara and Vivienne threw petals, while Shiloh and Knox served as ring bearers.
The pair obtained a marriage license from a local California judge who also conducted the ceremony in France.
The ceremony, which was attended by the pair’s nearest and dearest, took place the Château Miraval, a wine château in the village of Correns – one of Brad and Ange’s favourite spots.
The château has a 35-room main house, an ancient chapel and working vineyard spread over 1,100 acres.
Brange and their brood were spotted touching down in Nice just days before the secret ceremony.
In May this year, Angelina toldPeoplethat they were waiting for the right moment to make things official. “We’re just waiting for it to be the right time with the kids, with work, when it feels right,” she said.
“We talk about it occasionally, and the kids talk about it with us. “Which is verging on hysterical, how kids envision a wedding. They will in a way be the wedding planners. It’s going to be Disney or paintball – one or the other! We’ve got a lot of different personalities in the house. They’ve got some strong opinions. It will be fun. That’s the important thing. When we do it, it will feel like a great day for our family.”
