Dr Chris Brown, 36, has finally returned home to Sydney after two months away in the South African jungle filming I’m a Celebrity, Get me Out of Here! But it seems the distance might have proved too much for his relationship with his Home and Away star girlfriend Kassandra Clementi, 23.
The Daily Telegraph reports that the couple “are said to have succumbed to tension” following Chris’ hosting stint in South Africa. Instead of spending time with his girlfriend in Sydney upon his return, the hunky vet immediately departed for a holiday on the NSW North Coast without her.
If that is the case then it will certainly only add to what has already been an incredibly tough few weeks for Home and Away star Kassandra, whose father passed away just two weeks ago.
It’s believed that the highly photogenic couple first got together mid last-year after they were spotted kissing at LAX airport, and that they both bonded over their shared love of animals.
Chris and Kassandra both shared a love of animals and posted about them frequently on Instagram, although they were careful to never post pictures together.
Kassandra farewelled her father at his funeral last week, taking to Instagram to post about it: “After the most indescribably hard 12 days. Today we finally got to send you off. Rest in peace my Daddy … forever your little princess.”
We hope that Kassandra is getting all the support she needs through this difficult time – even if it’s not coming from Dr Chris!
