You will need: sheet of paper, larger than the child crayons paint in small bowls paintbrushes scissors apron Step 1 Put on apron. Step 2 Place paper on floor. Child should lie face up on top of paper. Step 3 Using a crayon, draw an outline around the child’s whole body. Step 4 Colour in body drawn on paper with crayons or paint. Older children might like to create a series of characters. Step 5 Finished figures can be cut out and used for further play. This activity encourages development of a positive self-image.
