Bobby Brown surprised the audience as a special guest of performer Macy Gray at LA’s Hollywood Bowl on Sunday evening.
The crowd greeted the 46-year-old with warm cheers as he began singing Real Love with pal Macy.
This marked the first time the My Prerogative hitmaker has performed since his daughter’s untimely passing.
After the performance Bobby acknowledged the devastating death of Bobbi Kristinaby addressing the crowd with, “thank you for your prayers, everybody.”
Macy then told the audience, “y’all don’t know that’s one of the best people in the whole wide world… one of the greatest people I’ve ever met.”
Following the emotional surprise cameo, an audience member spoke to Entertainment Tonight and revealed Bobby “acted very humble” during his guest stint.
It’s been an emotional year for the one-time husband of the late Whitney Houston. Just weeks after welcoming a baby girl with his wife Alicia Etheridge, he had to say goodbye to Bobbi Kristina in the same month.
Despite stepping back into the spotlight, the dad-of-six is still very much in mourning after vicious rumours and court cases continue to plague his 22-year-old child’s memory, even after her death.
