The funeral of Bobbi Kristina was set to take place next week, but it’s believed ongoing “family tensions” between both sides of her family are causing several setbacks.
Her tragic death earlier this week marked the end of a six-month battle for her young life after she was found face-down in a bathtub in January.
Her father Bobby Brown and her wider family announced that she had passed away peacefully in a Georgia Hospice on July 27.
Bobbi, daughter of the late Whitney Houston who died in Hollywood hotel bathtub in eerily similar circumstances, never regained consciousness.
Now, sources close to the Browns and the Houstons say they can’t agree on funeral plans.
“Both sides of the family are still not happy and not on the same page,” says a source. “There is a lot going on behind the scenes. There is a lot to do in a very short time. Things are constantly changing.”
It was last reported that Bobbi would be laid to rest beside her mum in New Jersey on Monday after a funeral in Atlanta. Entertainment Tonight says some family members wanted her to have a “Sweet 16” themed farewell because she never had a 16th birthday party.
The family had released a statement at the time of her death, with her father Bobby saying, “Krissy was and is an angel. I am numb.”
