During happier times her smile was contagious and her love infectious, Bobbi was unquestionably the apple of the parent’s eye.
In her last ever interview, Whitney Houston touchingly told Access Hollywood, “My daughter is my greatest inspiration.”
Bobbi clearly idolised her mother too, telling Oprah in 2012 after her death: “She wasn’t only a mother, she was a best friend. She was a sister, a comforter.”
Even in her death, the daughter of two music legends still faces callousness, which heartbreakingly seems to be the price tag for living a life with such force and velocity that Bobbi Kristina did.

“I’m just blessed to be in such an incredible woman’s life, there will never be another one,” Bobbi told the crowd at the Billboard Music Awards in 2012. In 1998 the Houston/Browns were every part the happy family.
Married in 1992, Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston were besotted with their gorgeous little girl Bobbi Kristina Brown and didn’t travel anywhere without her.
“She wasn’t only a mother, she was a best friend. She was a sister, a comforter,” Bobbi Kristina adored her mother, relishing the opportunity to be onstage with her.

In Whitney Houston’s song The Greatest Love of All she sings: “I decided long ago never to walk in anyone’s shadow; if I fail, or if I succeed at least I did as I believe.” This seemed to be how both Bobbi and her mum lived their lives – which were both cut tragically short.
