Steve Irwin’s 15-year-old son is well on his way to becoming Australia’s most eligible young bachelor – and Woman’s Day can reveal he’s grown close with not one but two young starlets.
Robert Irwin was pictured cosying up to young actress Emmy Perry at the annual Steve Irwin Gala Dinner in Los Angeles, and both looked wrapped to be in each other’s company.
“Sparks were flying between them,” an onlooker reveals.
Emmy, 14, who has starred in Glee, has plenty in common with the young conservationist, having launched her own animal charity, Emmy’s Hope, when she was 11.
At the gala, Emmy was seen cuddling one of Robert’s giant pythons and took to Instagram afterwards to share her joy.
“Had such a magical time honouring the legacy of a man who was truly an angel to the voiceless on this planet, Steve Irwin, and gathering to help continue his lifesaving work through his amazing family,” the actress wrote.
But during an exclusive chat with Woman’s Day at a separate LA event promoting their TV show Crikey! It’s The Irwins, Robert’s mum Terri revealed Emmy might have some competition from Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown!
“Robert is 15 now, he’s growing up, he’s the next generation Crocodile Hunter,” Terri tells Woman’s Day. “Definitely the girls are noticing him!“

Actress Millie, 15, recently spent time with Robert and sister Bindi, 20, at Australia Zoo.
“The most magical day with these special souls,” she wrote, deeming it “the best day ever”.
And Millie and Emmy aren’t the only ones to have been captivated by young Robert. In March, Woman’s Day revealed how he had grown close to photographer Ashleigh Scully, 17, after the pair met in the US.
