She never met a race she couldn’t win but Black Caviar’s brilliant career on the racetrack came to an end this week.
With tears in his eyes, the mare’s trainer Peter Moody announced that her record-breaking race at Royal Randwick on Saturday was her last.
Black Caviar will now go to stud to breed a new generation of champions.
