Blac Chyna has filed a lawsuit against former fiance Rob Kardashian, and his sisters and mother, for allegedly ruining her brand and physically abusing her.
The model claims she has suffered significant damage at the hands of the family after Rob posted nude pictures of her online earlier this year following their break up, and his family allegedly joined in the ‘slut shaming.’
Blac Chyna, whose real name is Angela White, claims this led to her show, Rob & Chyna, being cancelled, and damaged her reputation.
‘Rob Kardashian is an abuser intent on destroying Angela White, the mother of his baby, who left him in 2016,’ the complaint filed on Tuesday October 17 states, according to People Magazine.
‘In revenge, the Kardashian-Jenner family became media predators, slut-shaming her on social media and killing her hit television show, which had already begun filming a second season.’
Rob posted a series of nude pictures of Blac Chyna, claiming she was unfaithful to him, that she sent him pictures of her with other men, and accusing her of drug and alcohol abuse.
Blac Chyna alleges that he was physically abusive to her, but according to TMZ, sources say Chyna was the abusive and violent one.
Rob and Chyna started dating publicly in January 2016, and Rob proposed in April 2016, they had a baby together, called Dream, in November that year.
The relationship has always been a source of headlines, not just because of their individual fame, but also because Chyna has a son with Rob’s sister Kylie’s ex boyfriend Tyga.
Their relationship was documented in reality TV show Rob & Chyna on US station E!. Rob, who in the few years before the show had been a recluse, was open about his struggles with mental health and weight, and Chyna was seen helping him reconnect with old friends.
The show featured pop in appearances by his sisters and mother Kris, with Kim Kardashian teaching Rob how to put on a nappy in one episode as he was expecting his first child.
Blac Chyna is being represented by Lisa Bloom in her case, an American attorney whose name you might recognise.
She represented Janice Dickinson in her defamation case against comedian Bill Cosby, Mischa Barton in her revenge porn case and advised Harvey Weinstein in the early stages of his sexual harassment claims, before stepping down from the case.
