Bindi, along with her dance partner Derek Hough smashed the tango, dancing to the AC/DC classic You Shook Me All Night Long.

“That’s what my Mum and Dad would especially listen to,” she said after her performance on the US show.

It was clear the eldest Irwin was visibly moved by the song, telling People, “Sometimes you just need a moment. I think I was just so excited because the song means so much to me. That just hit me. There are so many memories attached to that song.”

The theme of the night was Hometown Glory and Bindi took the chance to show off her famous zoo in Queensland.

Bindi may have traded in her khakis for a sparkly black corset and long silk skirt, but she still had her warrior spirit in spades.

In fact it was the connection she had to the music helped with her tango, scoring her and impressive 25 out of 30. At the end of the night Bindi and her partner, Derek finished first – for the second week in a row!

As the performance came to an end, an emotional Terri and Bob Irwin cheered on from the audience.

The animal crusader clearly loves her time on the show. Prior to her dance, Bindi shared a snap on Instagram holding her dancing heels.

“Super excited for tonight’s rocking show with @dancingabc! I’ve graduated to taller heels and I’m going to try my absolute best tonight. Thank you for all of your support, I’m grateful every day #DWTS #TeamCrikey!”

And on Tuesday night (Wednesday arvo Aussie time) for another performance at the show’s LA studios, Bindi went from rocker chic to pretty in pink.

Wearing a gorgeous frock for her waltz to the song Only a Man by Jonny Lang, Bindi and Derek received a total of 23 out 30 – their lowest score so far, but it left them sitting comfortably in third place.

“It was so beautiful, and what I love so much about you Bindi is that you have so many different sides of who you are,” judge Julianne Hough – sister of Bindi’s dance partner Derek – said.

She was also labelled a “real-life Disney Princess” by the show’s host Erin Andrews.
