Bindi’s beau Chandler turned 19 over the weekend and she didn’t let the milestone go by without an appropriate social media upload.
“Happy birthday to a person who inspires me every day,” the wildlife warrior wrote on Instagram, alongside a stunning black and white photo of the loved-up duo.
“A soul who makes me smile no matter where I am in the world, despite any amount of distance,” she sweetly added.
“Thank you for the endless hugs, late night conversations about life, holding my hand when a loud noise scares me and laughing along with all of my bindi moments. I’m blessed to be a part of your world.”
Chandler, who is a professional wakeboarder, first met Bindi in November 2013 while he was in Australia during a completion and he stopped by Australia Zoo. As fate would have it, his tour guide was none other than Bindi.
Bindi shared this gorgeous pic in honour of Chandler’s 19th birthday.
As she currently competes on the US version of Dancing with the Stars, Bindi revealed to the show’s cameras that after she met Chandler she thought to herself, “this guy from Florida is okay!”
Due to his flourishing sporting career, Chandler is often travelling but it hasn’t stopped him from supporting his girlfriend from afar.
Almost every other day the wakeboarder takes to Instagram to wish Bindi well on the show.
“Even though I can’t be there to make her eat and force ice on her foot, I can’t wait to see @bindisueirwin crush it again tonight on @dancingabc!!!” he wrote.
