She’s the outgoing wildlife warrior who grew up in front of our very eyes.
But this week Bindi Irwin has unsuspectingly landed in the number eight position of Maxim magazine’s annual Hot 100 list, which rounds up the “most gifted and gorgeous Australian women who have impressed – and undressed – this year.”
Many fans were quick to slam Maxim for featuring Bindi, who celebrated her 18th birthday on July 24 with a public party at Australia Zoo, in the round-up.
“A bit odd they put a girl who just is just now of legal age. Still can’t drink in many countries though,” one used wrote.
“From the time she spoke so movingly at Steve’s funeral she’s been our ‘baby Bindi Irwin’ and I think she always will be!!” Another add noted.
But not everyone was opposed to the idea of Bindi growing up and discovering herself.
“She is an adult human and entitled to be found sexy just like the rest of you women,” one fan explained.
In the feature, Maxim paid tribute to Steve Irwin’s beloved daughter.
“In the same year that marked a decade since the passing of legendary Aussie wildlife warrior Steve Irwin, Bindi turned 18,” it read.
Before continuing: “No stranger to the limelight the all-growed-up conservationist celebrated her big day at Australia Zoo feeding crocs, hanging with dingos and taking selfies with thousands of her fans, while hanging out at the Crocoseum with her new boyfriend, American wakeboarder Chandler Powell.”

The publication also had a word of advice for the Dancing With The Star’s champ’s boyfriend Chandler.
“Some advice, mate – when your girlfriend’s family owns a pit of crocodiles, you’d best be doing what she says.”
In a recent interview with ET , Bindi admitted she was loving teaching the family trade to her boyfriend.
“It’s this really big thing for me. It was kind of one of those moments that was a real defining moment for me, because you know, it’s only the people who are the closest to us that get their khakis,” she mused to ET.
“So it was kind of like, this really big step. I love seeing you in khaki now. It makes me so happy. The very first place you got to wear your khakis was on the croc trip. It was a cool way to break in your khakis,” the star reflected.
Meanwhile Queensland superstar Margot Robbie took out the top spot with Jessica Marais and Delta Goodrem coming second and third respectively.
Many notable politicians also represented with Tanya Plibersek at number 96, Julie Bishop at number 98 and Pauline Hanson rounding out the list in the 100th place.
Bindi is yet to address her inclusion on the list.
