Bindi Irwin does not seem like the type of person to impulsively respond to backlash, but rather respond with kindness.
The Australian wildlife star has faced some negative feedback following her response to an American farm owner’s plea for help, in which Bindi has glossed over and shared a cute picture with her husband Chandler Powell on Instagram.
The pair married in 2020.

“@chandlerpowell, you make me happier than I ever thought possible.”

While her husband appreciated the post, writing: “I’m the luckiest man alive. You inspire me to be the best I can be and I love you. You are amazing.”
“@chandlerpowell loving you forever and forever,” Bindi responded.
Fans were shocked when Bindi gave “useless” advice to farm owner Taylor Blake who desperately reached out to Bindi on Twitter after her emu had fallen ill with avian influenza.
“I have been a fan of your family for as long as I can remember, I am reaching out to you in total desperation right now. I need help saving my emu, Emmanuel. I will pay to fly anyone to us, if they can help, no questions asked!” Taylor penned.
On behalf of her family, Bindi responded that while the Wildlife Hospital has “treated over 100,000 animals including emus, we have never treated an emu with this particular disease.”
“We will need to rely on our fellow animal experts with more experience with this avian flu. Our hearts are with you and we appreciate that you care so deeply and have such compassion for darling Emmanuel,” Bindi continued.

One fan labelled the response as “pathetic” as Bindi did not provide help given her “unique position” to utilise her wildlife contacts.
“Thoughts and prayers are cheap. You are unimpressive and that’s being polite,” the person wrote.
However, some people supported Bindi’s response, writing that it fairly addressed the hospitals inexperience with the disease.
