Miley Cyrus and fiancé Liam Hemsworth have kept us guessing for months now — refusing to confirm or deny the increasingly loud wedding whispers that follow their every move.
But this time around it’s the 24-year-old’s father who’s adding fuel to the fire.
On Thursday night, dad Billy Ray Cyrus took to Instagram to upload a rather telling picture.
“I’m so happy…you are happy @mileycyrus,” reads the caption alongside a dreamy pic of the singer, eyes closed, wistfully soaking in the sun’s rays, wearing…white.
Almost immediately, fans began to speculate (read: lose their minds in excitement and anticipation) that the “Wrecking Ball” hitmaker had secretly tied the knot.
(Brace yourselves for an enthusiastic display of capitals…)
“HI DAD PLS TELL US WHAT IS THIS 💖,” one commenter wrote. While another questioned, “WHAT IS GOING ON????? SHE IS MARRIED ????”
“BILLY RAY CYRUS DESCRIPTION PLZZZZ,” another user begged.
Eagle-eyed fans were also quick to point out that it was Miley herself who snapped the photo — perhaps indicating that she’s the one who sent the photo to her dad.

The couple are yet to officially confirm their nuptials and while this mightn’t be the first Cyrus-Hemsworth wedding rumour to explode online we have our fingers crossed!
The marriage isn’t yet confirmed but one thing’s for sure: Miley and Liam will always keep us guessing about the status of their relationship!

Remember that lavish party the loved-up duo threw for New Year’s Eve? Well, many have speculated that Miley and her 26-year-old partner used the everything-gold celebration for more than just ringing in the New Year.
According to NW magazine, the pair are believed to have used the lavish affair as an excuse to say “I do” in front of all their friends and family.
In hindsight, it seems obvious that the couple would have chosen New Year’s Eve for their nuptials – after all, both families were united at the time as they spent the holidays together in San Diego.
On the night, Miley posted a photo with the hashtag “in laws”, featuring Liam and Chris’s mum, Leonie Hemsworth, with her mum, Tish Cyrus, and with Liam’s brother Chris Hemsworth’s wife Elsa Pataky’s mum Cristina Pataky Medianu.
So, are they already married? Only time (and further cryptic Instagram posts) will tell.
