The Uptown Girl hitmaker’s wife Alexis Roderick delivered their first child together, a baby girl in New York at 2:40am on August 12.
A representative for the new parents took to twitter to reveal the wonderful writing, “Billy & Alexis Joel proudly announce the birth of their daughter Della Rose Joel!”
His website detailed that the new bub weighed in at 7 pounds, 6.5 ounces.
This is Billy’s second child, he had his older daughter Alexa Ray Joel, 29, with his second wife and model Christie Brinkley.

The musician and his fourth wife Alexis, who is an accomplished equestrian, married on July 4 this year in a surprise ceremony on their Long Island Estate, but have been in a relationship since 2009.
A spokesperson told People at the time that the couple, “Surprised guests by exchanging vows in front of their family and close friends.
The newlyweds announced their pregnancy in April, with a source telling the magazine, “Billy is thrilled to become a dad again!”
