One week on from the joint memorial service of mum Carrie Fisher, and grandmother, Debbie Reynolds, Billie Lourd has taken to Instagram to share her utter heartbreak with her adoring fans.
The 24-year-old Scream Queens actress uploaded a precious throwback photo of herself as a child seated next to her doting mum, Carrie.
The pair are all smiles as they sit comfortably in the back of a car.
The actress uploaded the touching image along with an emotionally charged caption, which quoted her late mother.
Billie wrote, “If my life weren’t funny then it would just be true and that is unacceptable.”
The quote was also accompanied with a series of wingdings-like emojis which the 60 year-old Star Wars icon was known to use in many of her Twitter posts.
Billie added: “Finding the funny might take a while but I learned from the best and her voice will forever be in my head and in my heart.”
Earlier this month, Billie broke her silence by uploading a childhood image of herself alongside her mum and grandmother.
The image shows a young Billie poking her tongue out towards the camera as her mum and grandmother happily smile in ignorance of the cheeky gesture.
Billie added a caption to the heartwarming photo thanking fans for their immense support after the sudden death of both stars in the final week of 2016.
She wrote, “Receiving all of your prayers and kind words over the past week has given me strength during a time I thought strength could not exist.”
“There are no words to express how much I will miss my Abadaba and my one and only Momby. Your love and support means the world to me.”
Carrie, passed away on December 27, 2016, after suffering a massive heart attack.
And in a tragic turn of events, just one day after Carrie’s death, her mother Debbie, 84, also passed of a suspected stroke.
At the time, Debbie’s son Todd Fisher, 58, confirmed the awful news, telling TMZ: “She’s with Carrie.”
