She’s one of the greatest success stories from The Biggest Loser Australia and Alison Braun continues to wow us all.
The 42-year-old has managed to keep off the massive 66kg she lost on season three of the show in 2008 and has shared her progress with an inspiring selfie.
“Never did I think I would ever take a pic of me in a bikini in Bali,” she wrote. “I never wanted to come to Bali because at 122kg I never felt like I fitted in. I still can’t believe just how much life I missed out on.”
Allison, who is now a health and fitness coordinator for her local area, has admitted that maintaining her physique does take a lot of hard work and commitment.
“When I wake up at 4:50am, my routine is turn off alarm, take Pre trainer [supplement], have shower [and] put on gym clothes … this is my clockwork routine everyday!’ she shared on Facebook.
Yet, despite her weight loss, Alison is adamant that she’ll never let her weight loss get out of control.
“I can assure you there will be no skin and bones, I have hips and I have boobs and I love the way they sit in a pretty dress so I intend to keep them.”
Although her stint on The Biggest Loser ended some seven years ago, the former reality TV show contestant continues to inspire others and recently offered some advice to the current contestants on the Channel 10 show.
“I’m not sure what path the contestants or what path you take from here, however I hope you all stand and acknowledge where you are at, choose where you want to be and believe you have everything inside of you to reach it!”
