The American singing sensation surprised the 13-year-old Perth fan, who suffers from mild cerebral palsy, when she flew across Perth’s arena in a harness and landed right in front of her.

Affectionately placing her hand under the young girl’s chin, Beyonce told the crowd she had a very special young lady in the audience, before leaning down to chat to her.

“Tell everyone your name, beautiful.”

“Sophie,” the adorable young fan replied.

“Sophie, I think I need you to help me sing this song. Do you think you could sing to the left?” Beyonce asked, before launching into a duet to her famous hit Irreplaceable.

The diva, who is in Australia for her Mrs Carter Show World Tour, crouched down on bended knees in a sparkling blue jumpsuit, playing with Sophie’s hair and stroking the young fan’s face as she sang.

But the real star behind the surprise duet was Sophie’s big sister Ellie, who had made a video of her sister and sent it to Beyonce’s manager to arrange the extraordinary meeting.

“She’s never really been able to go to a concert due to logistical reasons, so I made a video about Sophie,” Ellie told Perth Now.

“Even with everything she’s been through, she’s been able to do so much. She raised over $1000 for people with multiple sclerosis.”

“I put that all in the video and I just said that I think someone as amazing as Sophie deserves to meet someone as amazing as you [Beyonce].”
