Not even the sight of her own blood on stage can stop Beyonce from performing.
The pop diva was putting on a show at Tidal X: 1015 when one of her elaborate earrings was ripped clean from her earlobe mid song.
But instead of stopping, or seeking medical attention, the singer just kept on singing her song Haunted like the queen she is.
At one point, the 35-year-old can be seen calmly raising her arm to her left ear after realising her earring has been torn from her lobe.
So ouch! Here’s the culprit, pre-injury.
She appears to feel her own blood on her fingers, glancing calmly down at the substance on her hand, before continuing to sing.
The soulful songstress then went one step further, asking the audience: “How y’all doing tonight?”
It’s suspected that this long braid was the reason her earring was pulled out.
Fans speculated that the earring likely became snagged in her long braid and was reefed out when she did one of her signature hair flips.
“Poor Yonće. Her ear lobe was ripped in half and bleeding and she still gave a stellar performance,” one fan noted on social media.
She swapped to more simple jewellery for the later part of the concert.
Throughout the whole incident, Beyonce remained totally cool, calm and collected, busting out her dance moves, all the while with an injured ear.
