It’s news to no one that Beyoncé’s father Mathew had more than one public foray into infidelity, which eventuated in his divorce from wife Tina back in 2011.
In the very same year, the 20-time Grammy award severed business ties with her dad, who until that point had managed her career all the way back from the Destiny’s Child days.
“I am grateful for everything he has taught me,” the Formation hitmaker said in a statement at the time.
“He is my father for life and I love my dad dearly,” her statement continued. “I am grateful for everything he has taught me.”
And Mathew seconded the pleasantries with his own statement. “Business is business and family is family.”
“I love my daughter and am very proud of who she is and all that she has achieved. I look forward to her continued great success.”
