On Friday, Beyonce and her four-year-old daughter Blue Ivy jetted off to Camp David, Maryland, where they spent Labor Day weekend celebrating the Formation singer’s 35th birthday.
According to reports, the mother-daughter duo were met by First Lady, Michelle Obama, and her two daughters Malia, 18, and Sasha, 15.
The President, however, was unable to attend the birthday bash as he is currently situated in China for his final G20 Summit.
Also joining the star-studded party was Queen Bey’s mother Tina, who took to Instagram to share her excitement in her daughter’s milestone birthday.
“A beautiful early celebration of my baby’s 35th birthday given by one of the most amazing people ever in life,” she penned beside a happy snap where she dons a festive pair of celebratory glasses.
Tina couldn’t be more proud of her darling daughter.
The proud mama took to the photo sharing app for a second time during the festivites, this time with a throwback snap from Bey’s childhood.
“35 years ago today was one of the most happy days of my life. Out of all the people in the world God picked me to be your mother! What a blessing!! Happy birthday to one of the kindest, smartest, most generous and humble human beings ever! I love you” the 62-year-old wrote.

And since there’s really no point in passing on a birthday gift to the woman who has it all, guests were off the hook. Instead, Beyonce was the one who did the gift-giving!
Before flying on a private jet to the country retreat, Bey and her daughter were spotted taking Blue’s adorable new pup for a walk through New York City.
The fluffy new addition was allegedly a gift to the four-year-old.

While the 20-time Grammy Award winner enjoys some well-deserved family bonding, she is set to fly back to New Jersey later this week to resume the second North American leg of her Formation World Tour, which continues on Wednesday September 7 at MetLife stadium.
