Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner, both 44, have decided to give their marriage another shot, according to People.
“Jen has called off the divorce,” an insider told the publication. “She really wants to work things out with Ben. They are giving things another try.”
Another source close to the actors revealed they have have long worked toward a reconciliation saying, “There is always a chance of reconciliation. They love each other. They also really, really love their kids, and those kids love their parents.”
Before you start searching Netflix for Daredevil and Pearl Harbour be warned… the couple aren’t back together just yet.
Instead, they’re working toward staying together. Consciously re-coupling, perhaps?
Jennifer and Ben – who share children Violet, 11, Seraphina, eight, and Sam, five, together – announced their plans to divorce just one day after their 10th wedding anniversary.
A month later, explosive reports accused Ben of having an affair with the children’s 28-year-old nanny, Christine Ouzounian.
At the time, Jen was quick to reveal that the couple’s nanny was not solely responsible for the demise of their marriage.
“We had been separated for months before I ever heard about the nanny,” she said.
“She had nothing to do with our decision to divorce. She was not a part of the equation. Bad judgment? Yes.”
At the time, Ben, 43, called the report “garbage”.
“He’s still the only person who really knows the truth about things. And I’m still the only person that knows some of his truths,” Jen says candidly.
“It was a real marriage. It wasn’t for the cameras. And it was a huge priority for me to stay in it. And that did not work.”
Despite separating nearly two years ago, the couple have remained living at their Los Angeles compound for the sake of their three kids.
We wish Bennifer 2.0 all the very best!
