British women got a rare treat last night when giant images of David Beckham dressed only in his underwear were projected across the White Cliffs of Dover.
The images, which were so large they were visible from France, were to promote the football star’s ‘David Beckham Bodywear’ collection, which he is launching with Swedish brand H&M.
Although brief, the stunt certainly got people talking on Twitter. The hashtag #beckhamsbriefsofdover soon started trending with one Twitter user cheekily tweeting “Rock climbing anyone?”
Marketing coordinator for H&M Christopher Seychell said of the campaign: “We’ve never worked with such big briefs”.
