Bec and Lleyton Hewitt’s son, Cruz challenged Rodger Federer to a game of tennis

The former number one stepped aside for his littlest star to shine.

Cruz played a game with the world number two Roger Federer during the One Night With Roger Federer and Lleyton Hewitt FAST4 exhibition tennis match at Sydney’s Qantas Credit Union Arena.

It appears the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree with the blonde six-year-old.

Cruz was fantastic! He showed he had a really strong hand, and we’ll definitely be keeping an eye on him!

Watching on proudly from the stands was mum, Bec Hewitt with her daughters Mia and Ava. The 31-year-old looked fantastic, sporting new dark locks with warm caramel highlights.

The event has been dubbed the tennis’s version of Twenty20, with many celebrities in attendance including Guy Sebastian with his brother Chris, Australian cricketer David Warner and his fiancée Candice Falzon.

Lleyton appeared to be in good spirits even though Rodger continued his unbeaten run with a win over in the short-form contest.

We think he was reminiscing of the events the day prior. The tennis legends attempted an extraordinary game of tennis from across two moving speedboats in the middle of Sydney Harbour. To promote their tennis match, the pair had to battle it out while focusing on their balance!
