After ten years of romance Bec and Lleyton Hewitt are growing apart.
Bec Hewitt is at breaking point and has finally had enough. She is fed up with the lack of intimacy from her tennis-obsessed husband, who seems to have difficulty showing emotion.
“It’s been building for a while,” shares a close friend.
“Romance is severely lacking in their relationship and while Bec has been indifferent to it because she’s been busy with the kids, now she’s become uncharacteristically vocal about missing out on much-needed intimacy with Lleyton, 33.
“She admits he was never the most romantic guy anyway – a typical Aussie bloke who doesn’t make an effort with small talk or sweet nothings – but he’s shut down even more in the past few years and she desperately misses the special moments couples around her seem to share.”

The sinking feeling has left 31-year-old Bec wondering, “Is this the end?”
The couple’s clashing opinion on how to raise their children has also been a bone of contention.
“The magic has come to an end thanks to Lleyton’s long absences and leaving Bec holed up with the family in the Bahamas. But worse for her is Lleyton doesn’t agree with Bec’s aspirations for Mia,” the friend says.
“Unlike second child Cruz, 5, who is a tennis nut and a mini-me of his dad, Mia doesn’t play sport and is set on dancing, singing and a career on the stage. She lives to perform, which thrills Bec to no end.”
Bec of course, is a former performer herself and the Home And Away starlet reportedly has big hopes for Mia,8, to follow in her footsteps. Lleyton however, is just “encouraging her to play sport and just be a kid.”
This, coupled with what she feels is an unresolvable lack of romance in their relationship, is hitting Bec hard.
