Both Bec and Lleyton took to Instagram to mark their little boy’s special day.
The Aussie actress shared a darling snap of her son looking very cool in a pair of tinted aviator shades, while rocking a red, white and blue shirt with swanky board shorts.
The 33-year-old went on to pen, “Happy 8th Birthday #Cruza!!”
“We hope you had the best day! We love watching you grow! You always amaze us with how clever you are!! I love you and your beautiful hugs! #birthdayboy #8 #cruz.”
Meanwhile, dad Lleyton got in on the action sharing a photo of his main man rocking an AFL Adelaide Crows jersey.
“Happy 8th Birthday to our little fella #Cruz We’re so lucky to have you in our lives! #ProudParents #MyLittleBuddy #Dooza,” the tennis legend mused.
Fans across both Bec and Lleyton’s social media accounts were quick to wish the birthday boy a happy day but we think he’d be particularly chuffed by the message straight from the Adelaide Crows.
Players Taylor Walker and Rory Sloane commented on the sporting star’s post, writing, “Happy Birthday, Cruz! From @rorysloane @texwalka13 and all of your mates at the Crows! #weflyasone.”
It’s been a hectic week for the Hewitt clan, who just celebrated their eldest, Mia’s eleventh birthday on November 29.
Once again the tennis ace and his wife paid tribute to their darling girl.
Lleyton gushed, “Happy Birthday to our beautiful daughter Mia! We’re so proud of the person you are. An amazing daughter and an awesome big sister! #Mia #11 #ProudParents.”
While Bec remarked, “My beautiful Mia is 11 today! I am so lucky I get to watch you grow! You have the kindest heart and brighten my everyday! I can’t imagine the world without you in it! Happy Birthday! #happybirthdaymia #bestbuddy #growingupfast!”
And things aren’t going to slow down anytime soon with Christmas just around the corner.
“[My favourite thing is the] kids walking out to see that Santa’s been, that moment I just want to hold on to for as long as I can, I just think it’s so beautiful. And also just having everyone together! Eating!” Bec recently told The Daily Telegraph of her family’s Christmas traditions.
This year for the festive season, Bec and Ava will share something extra special – stepping into the role of Christmas ambassadors for Barbie.
The stunning Aussie beauty recently chatted about what this time of year is actually like in the Hewitt household.
“I don’t know if this is a little bit sad but our Christmas tree has been up for eight years!,” the 33-year-old hilariously admitted to Popsugar Australia.
Though, the mum-of-three admitted that Mia, Cruz and Ava “would like, one year, to decorate the house with Christmas lights. That’s something they look forward to.”
