Bec and Lleyton put break-up rumours to rest with a few smooches in the Big Apple.
Kissing and cuddling up a storm, the couple appeared to have not a care in the world and were all loved-up when spotted out and about in New York last week.
Earlier this month, Bec, 31, was said to have reached breaking point and had finally had enough of the lack of intimacy from her tennis-obsessed husband, who seemed to have difficulty showing emotion.
Though now it seems an often unaffectionate Lleyton is on a mission to show his wife just how much she means to him and he’s willing to do anything to make sure nothing comes between them.
“Kissing her in public, with the world watching, was the perfect gesture, although a brave step for Lleyton,” says a friend of the couple.
“It shows how much he wants his marriage and everything in their life together to work. He was determined to make that public statement no matter how out of character it felt, because it’s a message to Bec, in her language, that he loves her and they are going forward.”
While the 33-year-old tennis star has never been one to share in PDA’s, friends say his new-found desire to wear his heart on his sleeve is a huge step towards showing Bec and the world that he won’t give up on their love.
“Bec truly believes theirs is a fairytale romance and in her mind and heart there’s no question it will work and they’ll be together forever.”
