What was meant to be a romantic holiday in New Zealand quickly turned to heartache for the former kids’ entertainer Lauren Brant and her fiancée, personal trainer Warren Riley (pictured above).
Their trip was soon ruined after Lauren admitted to sleeping with hunky NRL Footy Show larrikin, Beau Ryan, on more than one occasion when they starred together in the Sydney theatre production of Aladdin and his Wondrous Lamp earlier in the year.
In a Woman’s Day exclusive, Warren explains he discovered his wife-to-be was cheating after he unearthed text messages on his phone.
“It’s kind of a punch in the stomach. I felt completely sick,” Warren told Woman’s Day.
On Monday a spokesperson for the 30-year-old sports star told Woman’s Day: “Beau and his family are on holiday spending much needed time together and we have no comment to make on their personal life.”
Despite the bombshell it was business as usual for Lauren, who took to social media to post a string of cryptic updates. “Who said Monday’s have to be dreaded?
#sunshine #love #dogs #truth #happiness #puppylove #wellbeing,” she wrote alongside a happy snap of herself at the beach with a dog.
“Feeling free as a bird x,” she later mused on Twitter.
Before revealing on Friday: “It’s about time all you guys out there go and buy your girls some flowers x.”
On Sunday, babies were clearly on the brain for the singer who tweeted: “In a kids clothing store – looking at babies clothes. Clucky much?”
And just moments later, she tellingly penned: “Because I’m happy…”
“Night at home with candles, wine and chocolate. Yes please and thank you x.”
Meanwhile father-of-one Beau, who married his childhood sweetheart Kara Orrell almost three years ago, has since taken a hiatus from The Footy Show as he works through his infidelity.
