The revelation has been confirmed by E! News, the network which airs Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
In a teaser which aired on Sunday in America during the mid-season finale of the hugely popular show, the 34-year-old beams to younger sister Khloe following an ultra sound: “I just got the blood test back, and I am pregnant!”
Meanwhile Kim’s bestie, Jonathan Cheban, took to Twitter to congratulate his pal: “Congrats Kim!!! Baby #2!!!,” the PR pro wrote.
While social media was in over-drive about the exciting news, there was radio silence from the Kardashian clan, matriarch Kris Jenner was the first to confirm the news on Instagram writing a few hours later, writing: “Congratulations!!!!!!!!!! Can’t wait to meet your new little love bug!!!!! Sooooo happy for you…#blessed #love #family #youaresobeautifulpregnant”
The reality starlet, who recently celebrated her one-year wedding anniversary with Kanye West, has long documented her wish to give daughter North West, who turns two this month, a sibling.
“We are trying. We try every single day. You can’t try harder than we try,” she recently confessed to E! News.
Adding of her struggle: “It’s getting exhausting. He always says, ‘Trying for baby number two isn’t as fun as trying to baby Number one.”
This will be the second child for the couple, who are the proud parents to daughter North West.
“But we’re literally trying everything that we can to make it happen, so I’m to the point now where it’s not as stressful to me. Maybe that’s when they say it happens.”
And after a relenting few months, her wish has finally been granted!
So far there’s no word on Kim’s exact due date however when the mother-of-one stepped out to take North and niece Penelope to ballet class in LA on Thursday, she attempted to hide her burgeoning bump under a baggy black T-shirt and cropped leather jacket.
