Yet, thatโs exactly whatโs happened. To celebrate the filmโs golden anniversary, some of Australiaโs biggest media personalities came together to create their very own version of the unforgettable show tune, Do Re Mi. It was interesting to say the leastโฆ
Special guests stars include Nicholas Hammond (Friedrich Von Trapp); Kerri-Anne Kennerly; Guy Sebastian; Shaynna Blaze; Ita Buttrose; Joe Hildebrand; Jessica Rowe; Leisel Jones; Lee Lin Chin; Richard Wilkins; Angela Bishop; The Australian Girls Choir; Ryan Fitzgerald (Fitzy); Ray Hadley; David Koch; Ben Fordham; Ahron Young; Ricardo Goncalves; Jonathon Moran; Melissa Hoyer; Michael Wipfli (Wippa); Andrew Reid; and Tim Gilbert.
The golden anniversary of the filmโs premiere will be marked officially on April 22nd, with the release of the 4-disc 50th Anniversary Collectorโs Edition. After looking through this, letโs just say weโre even more ready to leave the film in the professionalsโ sturdy hands!
